Bobby Donofrio, Singer/Songwriter/Lead Guitarist​
Guitarist Bobby D. (Bobby Donofrio) is a native of Hoboken, New Jersey, and a veteran of the Asbury Park music scene. Bobby started jamming with Al-vis Al (of Chick-A-Boom) back in the late 70's at the infamous Quack-Qauck. Over the years Bobby has performed with bands like NightWing (with Mike Morris), the Circuit (with Butchie Watt), the Short Circuit B.Wilder Band, BBR2, One-Eyed Jack and Billy’s fault(with one of his closest friends, Larry Evans).
Bobby’s earliest musical influence was his father, Nicky Don, a professional bassist and guitar player who performed with Harry Leahy and was once asked to be the bassist for the Four Seasons. Bobby’s other influences include Eric Clapton, David Gilmore and Chuck Berry. When not performing with Me and Bobby D, Bobby can be found playing in other bands like, Chick-A-Boom and Billy’s fault. He plays acoustic and electric guitars, bass guitar and sings lead and background vocals.
