Singer/Songwriter, Vocals, Bass & Acoustic Guitar
Dawn is self-taught and began playing acoustic guitar and songwriting when she was 15 and at age 28, she attended Berklee School of Music for two semesters. During that time, she studied guitar and was one of 11 songwriters to win the opportunity to perform on the Berklee stage.
While Dawn was at Berlkee, she was also a top ranked professional billiard player on the WPBA Tour, and a career offer took her in that direction, eventually being inducted into the New England and Tri-State Hall of Fame. Her musical love connected Dawn with other musicians in the billiard world, and she produced a CD featuring 7 songwriters called "The Other Side" in which Albert Lee performed on several of Dawn's songs.
She also played with guitar prodigy Marel Hidalgo when he was 6, and three years later they performed on stage at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in Cleveland. Dawn performs each year in the significantly impactful charity, Holiday Express, as well as Sisters for a Cure, and produces the Women of Song event for Light of Day.
Since moving to the Monmouth County area, Dawn has met many talented local musicians where her friendships formed with Me and Bobby D members, to eventually become the bass player and vocalist for the band.
Whatever adventure Dawn is on, her love for music is constant and she has found a home in the Me and Bobby D Band!
